My education and very close experiences with mental health and addiction(s) in people close to me, have helped me understand better what you might be going through.
After finishing Medical School, I trained to be a Psychiatrist in New York and then completed an advanced fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. I hold board certifications in both, General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry and have been practicing for 15 years.
Building a trusting relationship with your provider can help move you forward and increase your quality of life. It is easier said than done, but the more you try the more successful you will be. I am happy to partner with you.
With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, I began working with adults with mental health conditions in long term care settings for a number of years. I went on to obtain a Masters, and finally a Doctoral Degree from the University
of Minnesota.
I have worked with many individuals, including people close to me, who have been impacted by addiction. I have a keen understanding of the ways mental health and addiction intersect to impact one’s well being. By integrating

Yes we do! We work with co-occuring disorders, also known as dual diagnosis, which is just the simultaneous presence of mental health and substance use disorders. An example might be having anxiety, depression or other mental health symptoms, paired with a substance use disorder. These conditions can influence each other, making diagnosis and treatment more complex, but is one of our specialties!
Yes – we take insurance and offer private pay services as well. We accept some health insurance plans including United Healthcare, UMR, Surest, Medica, Preferred One, Aetna, and First Health. For patients who have insurance, and with whom IntegroRecovery Clinic is not in network, we do offer a superbill. Please note, the superbill process requires a diagnosis code and some details about your care be shared with your insurance provider for reimbursement. Reimbursement is based on your specific policy terms and coverage benefits. IntegroRecovery clinic cannot guarantee coverage of any kind.
Private pay fees are:
$400 for your initial appointment (60mins)
Follow up appointments can be 30mins or 60mins dependent on your care needs:
$400 for 60min follow up appointments
$200 for 30min follow up appointments
While we do require certain patient information (i.e., anonymity is not an option), all care and personal details remain strictly confidential. Additionally, with the use of private pay services, no information is shared with insurance companies.
No, we do not accept Medicare at this time
Yes, mental health can significantly affect physical health. IntegroRecovery Clinic sees adults 18+, usually categorized as adults (18-64) and elder or geriatric (65+)
Mental illness is usually a combination of factors including things such as environmental factors, life experiences, and yes genetic variation/components.
